In This Week's Drummer's Edge E-letter...
There's an interesting chat this week about
playing on a 4 piece set.

Charlie Watts from the Stones is a 4 piece
drummer. I remember hearing him say once that
"Less is more." I suppose that he would've
had to play on a bigger set to know the
difference.

Personally, I play a 9-piece set, but in the
band I played in eleven years ago, I only
carried 4 pieces with me. It was just because
of the style of band it was. 4 pieces was
really all I needed.

Also, in this week's e-letter, be sure to read
a good article about caring for your cymbals,
some new drum tips, and a rudiment lesson!

I post a bunch of great drum stuff in my
"Drummer's Edge" E-letter... Most of which
will never be posted here on my drums blog,
